Ribeye Steak Shawarma Wrap Recipe
1 pouch of Wild Garden brand Shawarma Quick Marinade
3 lbs steak rib eye, butterflied and sliced into 1” strips
3 large ripe tomatoes
2 medium red onions julienned
2 1/2 cups torn fresh herbs like parsley, mint, cilantro
1 jar of Wild Garden brand Hummus, any flavor
flat bread of your choice
In a mixing bowl, thoroughly coat strips of meat with marinade. Set aside for 15 minutes. While meat is marinating, cut tomatoes into half moon slices and slice the onions. Cook meat by either broiling in the oven, sautéing in a skillet, or searing on the grill.
Layer flatbread with 2 Tablespoons of hummus
Next pile on 6 oz of meat, about 1/2 a cup, 3 tomato slices, sliced onion to your taste, a handful of the fresh herbs, about 1/3 cup.
Roll up your wrap, cut in half, and secure each with a toothpick.
