A beautiful Turkish Chicken Rice Pilaf that tastes even better than it looks. Garnished with fresh herbs and side with pita bread. Recipe from Eat Travel Rock.
1 Wild Garden Turkish Marinade
1 Wild Garden Rice & Lentil Pilaf
2 chicken breasts cut into strips
1 red pepper
1 large red onion
2 pita breads
1Marinate chicken with Wild Garden Turkish Marinade for 10-30 minutes.
2Carefully char a red pepper over the stove using tongs. Blacken all sides of the pepper.
3Sauté onions and tomatoes.
4Cook chicken on a pan until cooked through
5Pour Rice and Lentil Pilaf to chicken pan. Heat until warm.
6Add sautéed tomatoes and onions to pan. Mix all ingredients together to blend all of the flavors together.
7Serve on a paella pan along with fresh mint and parsley, lemon wedges, and toasted pita bread.
